Having served Southwest Missouri clients for over 60 years, Smart Insurance Agency was established in 1958 by James A. Smart. Randal Smart joined his father in the agency in 1976 and partnered with him until Jim’s retirement. Randy was joined in 2006 by his daughter Lauren (Smart) Layman, bringing a third generation of the family into this thriving, full-service insurance agency. Smart Insurance now proudly serves more than 2,000 individuals, families, and business entities in and around the Southwest Missouri area.
