Serving Southwest Missouri since 1958, Smart Insurance Agency was founded by James A. Smart and has remained a family-owned business for three generations. Randal Smart joined the agency in 1976 and spent more than 50 years serving the insurance needs of our community. In 2006, his daughter, Lauren (Smart) Layman, joined the agency, continuing the family tradition of service. Today, Smart Insurance Agency is proudly owned by Lauren and Nicholas Layman, who are committed to preserving the values, relationships, and hometown service that have defined the agency for more than six decades.
